Dr. Ioannis Vergoullis, DDS, MS
Dr. Vergoullis received his dental degree with honors from the University of Athens School of Dentistry in 1999. He completed his certification training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in 2005, where he also earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow and Diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantology (ICOI), and serves as Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Louisiana State University, New Orleans.
Dr. Vergoullis has received national and international recognition through lectures, presentations and hands-on courses on his innovative techniques for professional societies across the United States and Europe. He is co-inventor of the Cervico system, used by clinicians and universities in more than 47 countries, and holds 25 patents in the field of dental implantology.
