Your initial appointment consists of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and the treatment options for your condition. Please bring a list of any medications you are presently taking, including over the counter medications, and any records your referring dentist has given you. With your consent, we will also contact your referring dentist or physician to request copies of all necessary diagnostic aids.
We perform a comprehensive review of your medical and dental history and a thorough examination that measures bone loss, loose teeth, receding gums and bite irregularities, includes an oral cancer screening, and checks for jaw joint (TMJ) problems and other signs of dental disease.
You will receive a written, comprehensive treatment plan that sets out all of your options together with the associated fees.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18. Please do not hesitate to contact us before your initial visit with any questions or concerns.
Radiographs
If your dentist or physician has already taken x-rays, you may ask them to email the films to info@vergoullis.com, or collect them and bring them with you. If additional intraoral films are necessary, they can be taken at our clinic. If your case requires a specialized radiograph, you will be informed and referred to a radiologist for a CT scan.
